Three days a week, a special hour-long torchlighting ceremony and hula show are presented in the heart of Waikiki, right on Kalakaua Avenue at Kuhio Beach. A variety of Hawaiian musicians and members of noted hula halau (dance schools) wave “aloha” to the setting sun with song and dance, hoping to catch a glimpse of the green flash as they do so. Bring beach mats or chairs if you wish — and join us in an evening of free fun!
