The world’s most famous beach is actually seven beaches in all, ranging from Duke Kahanamoku Beach on the ewa side (away from Diamond Head) to Queen’s Surf, down by Kapiolani Park. Swimming, surfing, SUPing, outrigger canoe paddling, catamaran rides and more: They’re all here, though don’t feel bad if you just want to sit on the sand and take it all in.
- Wake up super-early and walk the length of Waikiki Beach in the freshness of dawn.
- Sit on the beach some night and watch the waves ripple like white snakes.
- If you want to learn to surf, this is the place.
