This is the largest protected bay in Hawaii and provides an abundance of ocean activities as well as postcard-worthy surroundings. Although there’s not much of a beach, the calm waters are a haven for boats, kayaks, diving, fishing and paddling.
- The popular sandbar is essentially a huge beach in the middle of the bay.
- Kualoa Regional Park, on the northern end of the bay, offers great views of Mokoli‘i.
- Coconut Island, right off of Kaneohe, is where ‘Gilligan’s Island’ was filmed!
