Located at the base of the beautiful Koolau Mountains, this nondenominational temple is a replica of the Byodo-In Temple in Uji, Japan, a UN World Heritage Site. The lush, peaceful grounds are home to a reflecting pond, meditation areas and small waterfalls.
- The Bell House holds the 5-foot, 3-ton ‘Sacred Bell’ that is customarily rung before entering the temple.
